Biography:
Dr. Sun Weijian is a deputy chief physician, MD, doctoral supervisor, postdoctoral co-supervisor, researcher (special appointment), and vice president of the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University. He serves as a core member of the International Big Science Program, a review expert of the National Natural Science Foundation, a standing member of the Medical Robot Development Promotion Branch of the Chinese Medical Education Association, and the deputy director of the Evidence-Based Medicine Professional Committee of the Zhejiang Medical Association. His main research interests are the surgical treatment and comfort medical research of digestive tract tumors. As the first or corresponding author, he has published more than 40 papers in journals including Nature Communications, Bioactive Materials, Advanced Materials, Advanced Science, Molecular Therapy, and Chemical Engineering Journal (the highest IF of a single paper =27.4). More than 20 national/international invention patents have been applied, and 4 patents are being converted. Additionally, he has presided over 2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, 1 medical engineering project of the Medical Management Institute of the National Health Commission, and 6 key projects jointly built by the province and the Ministry. He was awarded the Young Top Talent which is supported by the Zhejiang Province High-level Talent Special Supported Program, Zhejiang Province University Leading Talent, etc. His scientific research achievements have won the first prize of Zhejiang Province Science and Technology Progress.
