Biography

Prof. Ji Jiansong is the Dean of The Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University and a professor at Zhejiang University. With extensive experience in clinical practice and academic research, he has dedicated over 20 years to pioneering studies in imaging diagnosis and minimally invasive interventional treatment for various diseases, particularly tumor and vascular diseases. Prof. Ji’s research contributions include the development of international examination protocols and diagnostic criteria for acute and non-acute intestinal obstruction, as well as innovations in radiofrequency ablation following transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) for tumor treatment. His work focuses on improving patient survival rates, minimizing side effects of therapies, and advancing the field of precision medicine. Prof. Ji is a recognized leader in interventional medicine and has made significant contributions to medical science and technology in China.

Teaching
