Biography:

Dr. Lin Cai has long been engaged in the clinical practice of wound repair and related research. He has presided over more than 20 projects, including the "Zhihui Action" of the China Association for Science and Technology and the Key Special Project of the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China. His exploratory research on artificial intelligence wound recognition technology won the 2023 Zhejiang Provincial "Pioneer and Leading Goose" major project. He has also participated in the “National Program on Key Basic Research Project of China (973 Program)” and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Dr. Cai has published more than 60 authoritative journal articles and SCI papers as the first or corresponding author, applied for 29 patents, and was authorized 8 invention patents and 12 utility model patents. His achievements have won the third prize of Zhejiang Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress and the second prize of Zhejiang Provincial Medicine and Health Science and Technology.

Dr. Cai was the earliest to carry out negative pressure closed drainage technology in the field of burns in China. His "Baipisu" composite cream, "New Bioactive Glass Materials for Wound Repair", "Intelligent Ultraviolet Disinfection Monitoring and Management System" and many other innovative achievements have been transformed into industry and popularized. As a discipline leader, he led the Burns Department to the 6th place in the top 100 specialties of Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics. As the backbone of the trauma repair team, he led the team to become the first national key clinical specialty construction unit, realizing a major breakthrough in the construction of the trauma repair discipline.
