Biography
Dr. Wang Yi is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Wenzhou Medical University, specializing in clinical epidemiology with a focus on liver cancer. With a strong background in molecular epidemiology, Dr. Wang has conducted extensive research on the pathogenesis, recurrence, metastasis mechanisms, and prognosis prediction of liver malignancies. They have developed highly specific and sensitive early diagnostic models for liver cancer based on fecal gut microbiota and combined radiomics with machine learning algorithms to improve clinical diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis prediction. Dr. Wang’s contributions to the field have led to numerous publications in prestigious international journals, including JAMA, Clinical Cancer Research, Gut Microbes, and Oncogene. Their groundbreaking early screening model for lung cancer, based on population and hospital cohorts, was published as the first author in JAMA in February 2015.
