Biography:

Dr. Zhu Libin is an esteemed Consultant Doctor of Pediatric Surgery and Associate Professor at Wenzhou Medical University. He supervises academic and professional master’s students and has been a visiting scholar at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Dr. Zhu also completed the Global Pediatrics Leadership Program (GPLP) at Harvard Medical School in Boston. Currently, he serves as the Executive Director of the Department of Pediatric General Surgery and Neonatal Surgery at the 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University. Dr. Zhu holds concurrent positions as a committee member of the Neonatal Surgery, Pediatric Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and standing committee member of the Pediatric Surgery Branch of the Zhejiang Medical Association. He is also involved with the Professional Committee of the Zhejiang Anti-Cancer Association, the Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons (PAPS), and serves on the communication editorial board of the Chinese Journal of Pediatric Surgery.

In recent years, Dr. Zhu has published over 30 papers as the first author or corresponding author. He has led 2 provincial and 3 municipal grants, and 5 of his patents have been successfully authorized.

Research Interests:

· Minimally invasive surgical skills training

· Congenital abdominal structural malformation

· Intestinal mucosal barrier and nerve development and related diseases
