Biography

Dr. Zhijiang Yan is a Distinguished Professor and Qianjiang Scholar of Zhejiang Province at Wenzhou Medical University, where he also serves as the director of the Institute of DNA Repair Diseases. His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of DNA damage repair and its critical role in cancer development. Dr. Yan has made significant contributions to the field, publishing over 26 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals such as Molecular Cell, Genes & Development, PNAS, Nature Genetics, Nature Communications, Cell Reports, and EMBO J. His work has been cited more than 4,200 times. Notably, one of his papers published in Molecular Cell was recognized as the Most Outstanding Research by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and another was awarded the Featured Article title by Molecular Cell and highlighted by Faculty of 1000 (F1000) as Must Read in Cell Biology.
