Wenzhou Medical University (WMU) is a higher institution under the administration of Zhejiang Provincial Government. In 2015, WMU was shortlisted as one of the co-development universities by the Ministry of Education, National Health Commission and Zhejiang Provincial Government. Chinese Government Scholarship “High-Level Graduate” Program is a full scholarship program by China's Ministry of Education to some of China's top universities for the direct selection and admission of outstanding international students to study in China.

Wenzhou Medical University(WMU) is one of the host institutions of the program and is responsible for recruiting high-level international students with excellent academic background, professional abilities, and future development potential to study for master's and doctoral degrees.

The“High level Postgraduate Program” of Chinese Government scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year has commenced, the details are as follows:

1.Recommended Quota

The number of recommended candidates should not exceed 10, no need to recommend alternate candidates.

2.Eligibility Requirements

The applicant must meet the requirements in the Chinese Government scholarship Admissions Guidelines (see Attachment 1).

3.Application Process

(1) Log in to the Wenzhou Medical University International Student Service Platform （https://wmu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx）, register and upload application materials.

The duration and deadline:December 15^th of 2024 to January 10^th of 2025

NOTE:Applicants applying for this scholarship must complete two online applications. First,complete the WMU online application and obtain the pre-admission letter before you can submit the scholarship online application.

(2)Those who have obtained the Pre-admission Letters should log in to the “Chinese Goverment Scholarship Study Abroad Management Information System" (http://www.campuschina.org), fill out the "Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form" online and submit the required application materials(operation procedures is in Attachment 2)

The duration and deadline:before March 28^th 2025

4. Recommended Process

(1) University will review all the application materials.

(2)School and hospital of the university will hold the examination.

(3) University will submit the recommended candidates to the China Scholarship Council for evaluation.

(4) After the evaluation by China Scholarship Council,the scholarship awardees will be notified by the university in July and admission notice, JW201 Visa application form and other relevant admission materials will be sent to them .
