To promote cross-cultural communication and build a harmonious class atmosphere, recently, the 2024 Nursing Class of Wenzhou Medical University's School of International Study successfully held its March theme class meeting at Room 7-01A of the International Exchange Center. The event, themed "Home Away From Home" incorporated three key segments: International Women's Day discussion, book sharing, and cultural exchange.
班会伊始，班长诺辉介绍了本次活动的主题和意义。在妇女节讨论环节，同学们围绕"全球女性发展"展开热烈交流，来自索马里的子怡同学特别制作了主题演讲，将妇女节庆祝与文化展示巧妙结合，引发广泛共鸣。
The meeting began with class monitor Nouhaila introducing the theme and significance of the event. During the Women's Day discussion segment, students engaged in enthusiastic exchanges on "Global Women's Development." Dhool, a student from Somalia, delivered a special presentation that skillfully integrated Women's Day celebrations with cultural displays, sparking widespread resonance.
文化展示环节成为全场亮点。同学们身着本国传统服饰，通过实物展示、图片讲解和现场表演等方式，生动展现了各自国家的文化特色。"看到大家穿着民族服装的笑脸，听着不同语言的欢声笑语，我深深感受到了温医大这个国际大家庭的温暖。"来自印度的暖暖同学动情地说。
The cultural exhibition segment became the highlight of the event. Students dressed in their national traditional attire vividly showcased their respective cultural characteristics through physical displays, photo explanations, and live performances. "Seeing everyone's smiling faces in ethnic costumes and hearing laughter in different languages, I deeply felt the warmth of Wenzhou Medical University's international family," said Lovleen, a student from India, with emotion.
活动最后，全体同学身着民族服装进行了"世界风情秀"，在欢快的音乐声中，班会圆满落幕。据悉，这是该班级本学年第二次主题班会，此类活动已成为增进国际学生交流的重要平台。
The meeting concluded with all students participating in a "World Culture Fashion Show" wearing their national costumes, bringing the event to a successful close amidst cheerful music. This marked the class's second theme meeting this academic year, and such activities have become an important platform for enhancing international student exchanges.
