The Movie Night for International Students:
Using Soul as a Mirror to Explore the Source of Life’s Value
5月10日晚，国际交流中心座无虚席，中外学生欢聚一堂，共同参与了心理主题电影的赏析活动，此次精心挑选了皮克斯的力作《心灵奇旅》作为放映影片。
On the evening of May 10th, the International Communication Center was packed with Chinese and international students who came together for a psychological film appreciation event. The Pixar’s Soul (2020) was chosen as the feature presentation.
活动伊始，学生们首先探寻了生命的意义，分享近期生活中的感悟点滴。国际学生还热情邀请各自的中国好友前来，通过跨文化间的交流，在多元文化视角下剖析对生命的理解。
At the beginning of the event, students delved into an exploration of the meaning of life and shared their insights and experiences from recent times. International students also extended invitations to their Chinese friends. Through exchanges, they deeply analyzed their understanding of life from diverse cultural viewpoints.
观影结束后，同学们互相讨论观影感受。《心灵奇旅》所传达的在日常生活中发现快乐、追随热爱、珍视每天的点滴生活将对大家深受启发。
After the film screening, the students engaged in discussions about their viewing experience and feelings. The movie "Soul" conveys the idea of finding joy, pursuing passion, and cherishing every moment in daily life, which has inspired the students greatly.
来自中国的李同学说：“这部电影让我意识到生活中即使是最平凡的瞬间也蕴含着美好。它生动地展现了那些看似平凡却充满力量的日常瞬间，提醒我们要珍惜当下。”索马里留学生 JAMA 表示：“乔伊对音乐的执着深深打动了我，他让我重新思考自己所热爱的事情。”来自阿尔及利亚的 BELQUIS 提到 “我们选择《心灵奇旅》是因为它兼具娱乐和深刻的启示。这是一部能让大家在放映结束后仍能久久回味的经典影片。”
Chinese student Mr. Li remarked, "This film made me realize that even the most mundane moments in life hold beauty. It vividly portrays those ordinary yet powerful everyday scenes, reminding us to treasure the present." Somali student Jama stated, "Joe's dedication to music moved me deeply and prompted me to re-examine what I am passionate about." Algerian student Belquis mentioned, "We selected 'Soul' because it combines entertainment with profound inspiration. It is a classic film that leaves a lasting impression on the audience long after the credits roll."
影片以真挚的情感和充满哲思的思考，让不同文化背景的学生都能从中收获共鸣与感动。未来，学院将继续为国际学生搭建跨文化交流的平台，助力构建更加包容与充满活力的校园文化。
With its genuine emotions and thought-provoking content, the film has successfully bridged cultural differences and resonated with students from various backgrounds. In the future, the college will continue to provide a platform for cross-cultural communication among international students, contributing to the creation of a more inclusive and vibrant campus culture.
