Focus on : sepsis; acute lung injury/ acute respiratory distress syndrome, multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS).

Research in the Shengwei Jin laboratory focuses on structural elucidation of bioactive molecules. Dr. JIN’s overall mission is “To identify novel bioactive mediators, pathways, and cellular targets critical in activating resolution of inflammation and their relation to human disease.” Recently Dr. JIN’s studies have focused on structural elucidation of novel molecules and pathways that serve as pro-resolving and/or endogenous anti-inflammatory chemical signals.
