The final for the WMU Career plan competition was held in QiuZhi building at Wenzhou Medical University on Thursday the 23rd of April 2015. After fierce preliminaries, the top ten students representing their respective colleges were competing against each other for the final glory. Representing the School of International Studies was a second year student, Yasin Sohawon who made it among the best ten candidates of the university. Yasin had an outstanding performance in the final which earned him the certificate of third place.

The final consisted of a ten minute simulation and presentation followed by five minutes of questions and answers from the judges. The final proved to be a very tight competition with the finalists doing their very best to impress the judges with brilliantly planned career simulations and meticulous presentations. Yasin started his presentation with an astonishing career simulation which followed by a round of applause from the whole audience. He plans on graduating from WMU, acquire his medical license and practice as a doctor for about five years to gain work experience. But having been an athlete in the past and currently a medical student, his ultimate goal is to help people live a healthier lifestyle. As such, he believes that a lot of lifestyle related diseases can be prevented.  Yasin plans on combining healthy eating and exercising into one organization (NGO), namely, Healthy Living Organization (HLO). He believes that if governments focus a bit more on prevention through proper diets and enough physical activities, a major part of the health care budget can be saved. Starting on a smaller level he plans on making HLO an international organization which will benefit the whole world and wishes that one day HLO is affiliated to other major organizations such as the WHO.

With the moto “Stay healthy, Be happy” Yasin plans on continuing to advise people on how to have a healthier lifestyle and is slowly marching one step closer to his ultimate goal.
